Elephant Communication
Elephants have a well-developed system of communication. They use of all of their senses - hearing, vision and touch - including an ability to detect vibrations. Elephants will touch each other with different parts of their body to show aggressive, defensive, sexual, playful, care-taking and exploratory behavior. They can also make different sounds with their trunks to communicate.
